Sangha Day
I went to Hsi Lai temple today for Sangha Day. I’ve been to Sangha Day a number of times over the last few years. It’s one of the ‘big three’
holidays for us Buddhists. Even if you are not a buddhist, I recommend going, it’s quite an amazing site to see.
This year was a particularly special year. Venerable Master Hsing Yun was there to lead the ceremony. Even at 80 years old, he gets himself all around the world. I can only hope when I’m his age I have half his will to continue. It’s amazing.
Seeing all the Venerables walk around the temple is quite humbling. I’m not positive how to describe it and don’t think I would find the correct words for it, but, hey.
Here is my favorite shot of the day.
The smile on Venerable Miao Hsi’s face is wonderful. Sure does make me smile.
take care. Amitofo.
